This women's black silk haori jacket has glorious red and white ume (plum) design that some parts are embroidered with gold-couching and pink kikyo (Chinese bellflower) design.
The design of the lining is charming kiku (chrysanthemum) in kikkou (Japanese classic tortoise-shell pattern). It has a mon (family crest) centre back at the neck. The symbol of the mon is tachibana (mandarin orange) mon.
It would be fantastic as a glamorous jacket and display as a fabulous decorative art piece for a room. Curtain Call is a wonderful vintage piece.
