This is a women's rinzu (figured satin) silk haori kimono jacket which has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with glamorous vivid red and green sasa no ha (bamboo leaf) design in gorgeous pale light purple. It is so-called ‘musou’ 無双 which means the lining is made of the same fabric as outer material.
It also has a elegant jacquard kiku (chrysanthemum) pattern. It is rather long for a haori which is typical of Taisho era (early 1900s) style.
It would be stunning to use as a jacket and also display as a wonderful piece of art for a room. Gloria is a fantastic antique piece.
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
It has certain wear and flaws including marks and small holes. The haori has been carefully patched in the centre back of the lining. I guess that the original owner of the haori loved it very much. I personally love the historical story of those items. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
