Serendipity

This is a women’s black silk shibori (tie-dyed) haori kimono jacket which has an enchanting floral design. It has an original shibori (tie-dyed) mottled surface look and crispy texture.

The design of the lining is gorgeous botan (peony) flower and the Bishamon kikkou 毘沙門亀甲 (Japanese classic tortoise-shell pattern) pattern based on the pattern combining three hexagons which is found on the Katchu 甲冑 (amor and helmets ) of Bishamonten 毘沙門天 (Vaisravana). I love the classic geometric pattern.

The haori jacket would be stunning to use as an original jacket and also display as a fabulous piece of art for a room. Serendipity is a smart and sophisticated vintage piece.
