This is a women’s meisen silk kimono witch has dramatic matsu (pine) and kumo (cloud) motif pattern in elegant silvery grey. The lining of the top main part is in pale pink and the bottom part is in pinky beige cotton.
It would be stunning to use as a dress and also display as a fabulous piece of art for a room. Sky High is an attractive antique piece.
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
This kimono is quite long. Please check the measurement. You may need to have a bit of tuck at your waist with this length of kimono unless you are very tall. You can adjust the length by using a koshihimo (a cord tied around the waist of a womans kimono to hold it in place). Koshihimo is available for £4. Please ask for more details.
It has certain wear and some slight marks, but as a whole it is in a good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
