This hand-stitched women's indigo cotton hippari farmers jacket has white geometric kasuri (ikat) pattern in navy blue. It has short sleeves and the width of the cuff is about 13.5cm. The top lining is a black cotton with kasuri (ikat) pattern. The jacket has a wrap-over front with a tie closure inside.
The jacket, typical of Japanese folkwear, is slightly starched and will soften after a couple of hand washes in cold water.
Hibari is a lovely piece with a warm folk feeling and is definitely one of my favourite pieces. It will be a great casual jacket with jeans or any other items!
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
It has certain wear and other flaws including marks and smudges. Please check detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
