Hippari: Tsubame

This hand-stitched women's indigo navy blue cotton hippari farmers jacket has a charming light blue geometric kasuri (ikat) pattern. It has about 9 cm slits at the bottom of both sides. The jacket, typical of Japanese folkwear, is slightly starched and will soften after a couple of hand washes in cold water.

Tsubame is a lovely piece with a warm folk feeling. It will be a great casual jacket with jeans or any other denim items!

It has certain wear and slight marks, but as a whole it is in a good condition for the age. Please check detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
