This is a fantastic vintage indigo cotton fireman's hanten jacket. Fireman's jackets are usually made of very tough cotton for their work but this is a quite light weight hanten jacket. Kanji lettering on lapel says ‘HimejiNishi shobodan ( West Himeji fire team ) 姫路西消防団’ and the jacket also has wonderful graphic character of the fire team logo and pattern.
It would be stunning to use as an unique jacket and also great display as a decorative piece for a room.
It has certain wear and flaws including marks. Enjoy real vintage folk textile taste of Japan! Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
