This is a fantastic antique indigo boro 襤褸 piece. The fabrics are hand spun and woven which has such a soft and warm feel. The indigo colour is just breathtaking.
The cloth is well used and many parts are repaired elaborately with very charming and tasteful feel fabrics. It is considered to be c. from late 1800 - early 1900. This indigo boro piece is so distinctive and really a museum class. It is seriously attractive.

It would be stunning to display as a wonderful piece of art for a room.
