This is a women’s silk and hemp blend summer kimono which has enchanting ayame (iris) nadeshiko (fringed pink), sasa no ha (bamboo leaf), ougi (fan) and water stream pattern in soft viridian green.
It is so-called hitoe (single lining), which means it has no lining. The kimono has a lovely original Asa 麻 (hemp) crispy texture and a bachi-eri (folded lapel).
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
It would be stunning to use as a dress and also display as a wonderful piece of art for a room. Love Letter is an attractive antique piece.
It has certain wear and flaws including marks and a couple of tiny holes, but as a whole, it is in good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
