This women's chirimen (crepe) silk haori kimono jacket has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with a happy graphic abstract pattern all over. The contrast of all those colours - coral pink, mustard, black, grey and bluish green is chic and stylish. I love the design which is unique like a modern art. It has kiku (chrysanthemum) and traditional pattern tatewaku (waving lines) design in the lining.
The haori would be stunning to wear as an attractive jacket and display as a decorative art piece for a room. Wonderland is a fantastic vintage haori jacket and definitely one of my favourite pieces.
It has certain wear and some tiny marks in the lining, but as a whole it is in a very good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
