This is a fantastic antique women's chirimen fine silk haori kimono jacket which has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with red, blue and yellow floral motif pattern. The pattern is created by the amazing geometric shibori (tie-dyed) work. Some of the design at the back are partly embroidered with gold and silver thread.
The design of the lining is colourful shippo (the seven treasures) and cubic pattern. The haori is definitely one of my favourite pieces. Decoupage is such a gorgeous antique piece.
It has certain wear and flaws including a 1.5cm hole at the edge of right sleeve and a 5mm hole at the back of the collar, but it is such s wonderful piece. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
