This hand-stitched women's indigo cotton hippari farmers jacket has a charming white geometric kasuri 絣 (ikat) pattern in navy blue. It has short sleeves.
The jacket, typical of Japanese folkwear, has a wrap-over front with a tie closure inside. Unfortunately a front strap is missing.
It isn’t a very large Hippari jacket. I'm usually a UK size 8 -10. The jacket just fits my size.
Sachi is a charming piece with a warm folk feeling. It will make a great casual jacket with jeans or any other items!
