This is women’s wool blend kimono which has a glorious light blue parrot and red, white and yellow berries in a soft black. The collar of the kimono has charming hand embroidered white flower pattern.
The lining is in navy blue cotton and the lining of the sleeves is in vivid yellow cotton. The kimono has such a fabulous retro feel from early 1900.
It would be stunning to use as a dress and also display as a wonderful piece of art for a room. Utopia is a rare and attractive antique piece.
It has some flaws and certain wear including small holes. The kimono has been carefully repaired in a number of places. I guess that the original owner of the kimono loved it very much. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
