This is a women's silk jyuban (underkimono) which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with a unique kabuki make up ‘Kumadori’ 隈取り design, kine (pounder), wheel of goshoguruma (imperial carriage), Kasane Masu (Japanese classic Layered square boxes) and uroko (Japanese classic fish scale pattern) in elegant coral pink.
The lining is in off white tsumugi pongee silk. The kimono would be stunning to wear or great display as a decorative piece for a room. Kabuki is a fantastic vintage piece.
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
It has certain and some small marks, but as a whole it is in a good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
