This is a women's silk and silk blend jyuban (underkimono) which has an enchanting design of classic Japanese floral pattern in purple. The sleeves and the bottom of parts of the kimono have different gorgeous floral pattern in golden olive.
The flowers are kiku (chrysanthemum), botan (peony), tsubaki (camellia), ume (plum), momiji (maple) and matsuba (pine needles). The lining of the top main part is in ivory cotton and bottom part is in golden yellow silk. The kimono would be stunning to wear or great display as a decorative piece for a room. Kyoto Gion is a fantastic antique piece.
It has some flaws and certain. Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
Note: This kimono does not come with a belt. If you would like one, please check my casual obi collection on casual-obi-belt.html. Prices start from £7 or £8 for a belt.
