This is a women’s kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with tsuru (crane), classic floral pattern of ume (plum) and kiku (chrysanthemum) all over in pretty red. The lining is in white silk.
It would be stunning to use as a dress and also display as a fantastic piece of art for a room. Life Beyond is a charming antique piece.
It has certain wear and some flaws including a 5mm hole in the front right sleeve top and the lining is partly worn out and getting thin.
Also the kimono has been carefully repaired on both back shoulders. I guess that the original owner of the kimono loved it very much. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'
