This is a women’s kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in a good quality of silk with charming red, white and pink floral design in an elegant light coral pink. It also has lovely Japanese traditional pattern called sayagata (gossamer-figured pattern). The lapel is a bachi-eri (folded lapel). The top lining is off white and the bottom is in pale baby pink.
It would be stunning to dress and also as a decorative art piece for a room. Spring Chorus is an attractive vintage piece.
This kimono is quite long. Please check the measurement. You may need to have a bit of tuck at your waist with this length of kimono unless you are very tall. You can adjust the length by using a koshihimo (a cord tied around the waist of a womans kimono to hold it in place). Koshihimo is available for £4. Please ask for more details.
