This is a women’s chirimen crepe silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with fabulous tsuru (crane) and kiku (chrysanthemum) pattern in beautiful oriental reddish orange. Some parts such as the flower cores, petals and outline of cranes are decorated with highlights of gold-couching. The lining is fine red silk.
It would be lovely to use as a dress and also display as a wonderful piece of art for a room. Sunset Waltz is an enchanting antique piece.
It has certain wear and some flaws including a 1.5cm hole in the lining, but as a whole, it is in very good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
