This is a girl's kinsha (fine crepe) silk kimono which has a soft and smooth touch in good quality silk with enchanting colourful kiku (chrysanthemum) floral design and red, green and black kasumi (mist) motif pattern all over in off-white.
It has a bachi-eri (folded lapel) and a beautiful oriental red silk in the top lining and pink chirimen (crepe) silk in the bottom lining.
I love the design and colour of the kimono. It's definitely one of my favourites. It would be stunning to wear and also display as a decorative piece for a room. Viva La Vida is a really charming piece.
As you can see the measurements on the website, it isn't a very big kimono. I'm usually a UK size 8. The kimono doesn’t close at the front on me. The sleeves are a little bit short but I don't think you need to worry about that much. It makes lovely very lightweight silk long jacket for women.
The model is about 157cm (5’2”).
It has certain wear and some flaws including a big smudge mark in the back right sleeve. However even so this is such an attractive antique kimono ♡ Please check the detail photos and the 'Extra Images'.
