This women’s navy blue indigo hand-stitched yukata cotton kimono has classic and nostalgic design of kiku (chrysanthemum), kikyo (Chinese bellflower), nadeshiko (fringed pink) and Ominaeshi (golden lace) in kikkou (Japanese classic tortoise-shell pattern).
The kimono is well made and has a bachi-eri (folded lapel). Summer Memories is a charming vintage piece.
This cotton kimono is quite long. Please check the measurement. You may need to have a bit of tuck at your waist with this length of kimono unless you are very tall. You can adjust the length by using a koshihimo (a cord tied around the waist of a womans kimono to hold it in place). Koshihimo is available for £4. Please ask for more details.
It has some certain wear and some little marks, but as a whole it is in a good condition for the age. Please check the detail photos and 'Extra Images'.
